For all your cycling needs:

Located in Building 51 (entry off Union Loop Road), the Bikery is the bike hub of the Clayton campus, we provide students and staff with cheap maintenance, bicycle parts and accessories, refurbished bikes and general cycling advice.
 

Equipment:

Remember to make sure you and your bike are equipped with safety gear, or that part that will make your riding experience that little bit more enjoyable. The Bikery has everything in stock you will need at student friendly prices.

Repairs:

At the Bikery there is a permanent staff member and student volunteers that can assist you:
• with flat/punctured tyres,
• brakes that need adjusting
• gears that require adjustment
• provide expert advice
• order parts if we don't have them on hand
• We can also show you the best way to and from campus
• Direct you to the new Bike Station (bike storage and showers)

Workshops:

The student volunteers at the Bikery also run maintenance workshops that show you how to fix basic problems with your bikes such as patching a puncture or changing brakes.

Volunteering:

If you like the idea of saving money and the environment or you're just a bit of a bike nerd you can also volunteer at the Bikery. Volunteering at the Bikery will give you the opportunity to learn lots about bikes and to also take part in a grassroots movement that’s actually doing something about a sustainable future.

Events/Community:

The Bikery also gets involved in bicycle events:
• cycling breakfasts
• around the Bay in a day
• supports the Monash University Community Bicycle User Group (McBUG), which is a cycling advocacy group
